Coronavirus– how Schools are Operating 20th March 2020

The school remained open through the 2019/20 academic year, ensuring that our vulnerable children and the children of keyworkers could continue to access a high quality education.  From June, all of our children had an opportunity to return to school.   From September we have welcomed all of our children and they are being taught in secure bubbles.

In line with government expectations we have secure plans to revert to remote learning, should it be necessary.  A copy of our “Contingency plan for remote education” can be seen herehttp://allsaintsgreatoakley.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Contingency-Plan-for-Remote-Education.docx.

                      Welcome

Welcome to All Saints  C of E (VA) Primary School, Great Oakley.  We are a small village primary school in the heart of the village of Great Oakley and our website is here for a number of different audiences – our families, our children, our local community and any prospective parents.  We hope that for whatever reason you visit our site that you get a good idea of what our school is about.

We are a busy, happy church school and highly value our children, their families and the local community that we serve.

Please see our latest Siams report: Siams Report All Saints Great Oakley 2020

We aim to keep a ‘family feel’ to our school and believe that for a child’s education to  be successful that there should be a partnership between home and school.  We welcome parents in school at the beginning and the end of the school day.  Many parents also support children in school; It could be by working with small groups, hearing children read or maybe supporting children with maths.

We often invite parents into school to enjoy a delicious school lunch and share playtime with their children.

We are fortunate to have an active Parent Teacher Association who work really hard to enrich the children’s school experience and they are also enthusiastic fundraisers, providing extra opportunities with the money that they raise.

We hope that as you look at the site you find what you need, but if not please get in touch with us so that we can deal with your queries in person. For more detailed information about the life of our school please explore our All Saints Great Oakley Prospectus.
